We will have our Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 30th April 2022 at the St. Louis School, 179 Third Street, West Point, Hong Kong.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of members of the St. Louis Old Boys’ Association Limited (the “Association”) will be held on Saturday, 30th April 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the St. Louis School, 179 Third Street, West Point, Hong Kong. (the “AGM Venue”) for the following purposes :

  1. To confirm the minutes of the last annual general meeting.
  2. To receive and adopt the Annual President’s Report for the preceding year.
  3. To receive and approve the Honorary Treasurer’s Financial Reports and the audited Statement of Accounts.
  4. To appoint Auditor for the ensuing year.
  5. To elect Directors/Council Members of the Association for the ensuing year.

 

NO PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE OF THE AGM

In light of the directions in relation to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation issued by the Hong Kong Government on 9th February 2022 which has become effective on 10th February 2022, physical general meetings of companies are prohibited. The board hereby announces that the AGM will be conducted virtually via electronic means (the “Virtual AGM”).

The AGM venue in Hong Kong will be used and only the presiding President and Honorary Secretary of the Virtual AGM will be physically presented at the AGM Venue.

SLOBA members, including proxies will NOT be able to attend the Virtual AGM in person, and can only attend the Virtual AGM via electronic means.

All members listed in the directory, who being eligible, are invited to attend the meeting virtually. Members wishing to appoint a proxy should duly complete and sign the enclosed proxy form. The proxy form shall be deposited at the registered office of the Association or delivered to the Honorary Secretary of the Association not less than twenty-four hours before the time appointed for holding the meeting.

SLOBA will provide online live broadcasting of the AGM through YouTube (www.youtube.com) and Zoom (www.zoom.com).  The method to access the YouTube broadcast will be announced on our website (www.sloba.org) on 29th April 2022 (Friday).  For those who would like to participate at the meeting remotely, please complete and submit the enclosed form, Request for 2022 Virtual AGM Zoom Access, no later than 10am on 28th April 2022 (Thursday) to obtain a Zoom link.  However, we regret that questions to the AGM can only be raised through the Zoom meeting.
