ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of members of the St. Louis Old Boys’ Association Limited (the “Association”) will be held on Thursday, 30th day of April 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Louis School, 179 Third Street, West Point, Hong Kong for the following purposes:
a) To receive and adopt the Annual President’s Report for the preceding year.
b) To receive and approve the Honorary Treasurer’s Financial Reports and the audited Statement of Accounts.
c) To appoint Auditor for the ensuing year.
d) To elect Directors/Council Members of the Association for the ensuing year.
All members listed in the directory, who being eligible, are invited to attend the meeting. Members wishing to appoint a proxy should duly complete and sign the enclosed proxy form. The proxy form shall be deposited at the registered office of the Association or delivered to the Honorary Secretary of the Association not less than twenty-four hours before the time appointed for holding the meeting.
COVID-19 Matters
The spread of COVID-19 is affecting every one of us and I hope you are staying safe at this time. With the personal health of our alumni and attendees of the AGM being our top priority, we have taken extra steps with the following measures and recommendations:
1) We will continuously monitor the health precaution requirements and work closely with our alma mater. Based on how the pandemic develops, there is a very good chance that the venue of our AGM may be changed.
2) To align with the government policy in mass gathering, we strongly advise our fellow members to use the proxy form to delicate someone you trust to minimize the number of physical attendees under the virus outbreak.
3) We have formed a Special Precaution Team lead by our Past-President, Mr. John Po (1974), together with our medical background old boys to prepare and monitor the environment for the AGM.
