Dear All :
Below are 2 emails. Highlights are found in red.
(A) Latest News of Fr Scilligo disclosed by himself only a couple of hours ago. He is having a surgery for his brain tumor, a difficult one.
(B) Nick Chiu Sai Chuen of 1963 nickchiu@i-cable.com wishes that the 1968ers will get in touch with him ASAP about their 40th reunion. *
Whilst I am still trying t! o overcome the shock by Father's news, I can think of two things:
1. As far as his presence to our gatherings is concerned, I'd see that he should attend no more than two dinners, one dinner with the 63ers & the other with the rest of us, if we care enough about his health, bearing in mind that the surgery may affect his speech as well as coordination.
For this reason, if you guys will permit me, may I suggest that the 68ers will join all the rest of us for the Oct 31 dinner if you want Fr Scilligo's presence, even if you 68ers are as sincere the 63ers in inviting him to attend your dinner by buying him the airfare etc.
2. Would you care to drop him a prayer or a line of encouragement? If you do, would you mind sending your prayer /well wishes to me so that I will put all of them in ONE email to him? Once again, for his sake. I don't think we are doing him good, if each of our individual prayers fly in his inbox like snowflakes. So, how about sending me your prayers by July 2 the latest?

*Is Martin SO Yeuk Yue a 68er? If you are or if you know of the 68ers, would you kindly either contact them or give me the keymen's email address? Similarly, to all, if there's no 68ers in this email list, would any of you that know of the 68ers kindly either contact them or give me the keymen's email address, so that I can act as a go-between for the 63ers & 68ers?
Will Deka of SLOBA also help out locating the 68ers in addition to say Martin So's efforts, despite privacy is a huge concern to some old boys?
