SLOBA Every 5th Graduation Reunion Sponsorship
Overview:
In order to foster a culture of regular gathering of alumni, SLOBA has set up a sponsorship to subsidise an Anniversary Gathering for every 5th years after their graduation. We set arbitrarily YEAR OF GRADUATION as Form 5 (before year 2012) or S6 (after year 2012). The graduation class can apply the sponsorship if they gather in 5th, 10th, 15th, etc years after their graduation. The sponsorship is on a first-come-first-serve basis. The SLOBA Council will review the budget of the sponsorship each year based on number of application in the previous year.
Examples:
Below classes of graduates are eligible to apply in 2017: F5 Graduates of 2012, 2007, 2002, 1997, 1992, 1987, 1982, 1977, 1972, 1967, 1962, 1957, 1952, etc
While in 2018, S6 Graduates of 2013 and F5 Graduates of 2008, 2003, 1998, 1993, 1988, 1983, 1978, 1973, 1968, 1963, 1958, 1953, etc
Sponsorship Amount:
Five Thousand Hong Kong Dollars (HK$5,000) per eligible class
Method and workflow of application:
1. Download and fill in the application form.
2. Submit the form to SLOBA office by fax or email at least three months prior to the reunion.
3. Once SLOBA approves the application, we will email the person in charge and announce the event on SLOBA web site and Facebook to help your class promote.
4. After the reunion, the person in charge can submit a few lines and photos of the event for sharing on SLOBA web site and Facebook.
5. SLOBA will issue the subsidy cheque to the person in charge within one month after receiving the reunion photos.
6. SLOBA reserves the rights to accept or decline an application.
Remarks:
Should there be two or more groups of graduates from the same year apply for this reunion sponsorship at the same time, we will recommend the groups to merge together in order to be subsidised.
