SLOBA 60
SLOBA 60th Anniversary Celebration and Dinner
Father John Foster established St. Louis Old Boys’ Association with a group of old boys in 1961. The mission of SLOBA was to connect old boys through activities at that time. Under the leadership of various past presidents and the invaluable advice and support from Father Patrick Deane, SLOBA evolved into providing support and services not only to our old boys, but also to our Alma Mater and students.
The success of SLOBA has then noted by the Salesians of Don Bosco Society, as expressed during the 2020 Past Pupils Regional Conference. The Conference recognises SLOBA as the most well-organised old boys’ association amongst all SDB schools in Asia.
This year 2021 marks the 60th anniversary of SLOBA establishment, and SLOBA 60 is a remarkable milestone. We have achieved many goals that we are all proud of. We grow with our Alma Mater and we assist and contribute whenever there are needs to be met from our school and students alike.
To combine with the 2021 Homecoming Day, I am absolutely thrilled to inviting you to join the SLOBA 60 dinner on Saturday, 6th November 2021 after the Homecoming.

To confirm your seat at the dinner, please download this form and send it together with your payment by cheque to SLOBA office or direct deposit/account transfer to SLOBA bank account at the DBS (星展銀行). The reservation deadline is 18th October 2021. Walk-ins will not be entertained due to the limited capacity and social distancing guidelines. Dinner seats are limited and reservation is on first come, first served basis with reply and payment on or before 18th October 2021. Deficits will be sponsored by SLOBA.

It will be an excellent opportunity for every SLOBA member, to greet and meet with each other, as well as with our clergymen and teachers. We will also invite Dr. Victor YICK Ho-Kuen (易浩權博士), the new principal of St. Louis School to join us at this memorable celebration.
Lastly, it has truly been my privilege to serve as President of SLOBA. Salesian Fathers and Brothers and St. Louis School teachers have provided us with precious values in their teaching. “Bring Honour to Thy Name” is living amongst all of the St. Louis School Old Boys.
